How-To In Any Language

Instead of telling a story, a video sometimes just needs to get some work done – like showing how to use an appliance or a tool.  In this case, Herman Miller wanted to help people learn how to properly adjust and use a primary tool of office work – the chair.

Herman Miller chairs are high-performing and extremely supportive –  especially when adjusted and used properly. And, yes, every chair comes with instructions called “hang tags”. But, those are often removed during installation – or subsequently discarded or lost.  So, Herman Miller needed to provide visual instruction to any chair user – worldwide. That could be hundreds of versions for hundreds of languages.

Or let pictures do the talking without text.

So, we did. And we applied the developed graphics to several other chair videos.

Have a seat.
